If you are doing a complete Kitchen Remodel, then you will need to determine an overall look for your kitchen even taking into account the lighting situations throughout the day that will affect the look and feel of your new kitchen and your kitchen flooring.

Consider a kitchen floor style that will accent your cabinets, countertops and work with your appliances and fixtures. Coordinating often times even means adding contrasting colors and materials. Some people like to go with a complete marble kitchen that would start with kitchen floor tiles made of marble and go thru to marble countertop tiling and marble wall tile treatments. Other people like to go with custom hardwood floors to contrast their choices in kitchen countertop tiles and/or wall splash tile treatments & complete wall tile treatments.

We always suggest that you pickup as many kitchen design magazines as possible to get a feel for different combinations that are being done. We can match most looks at a price that will fit your budget.

Kitchen Flooring that will Stand the Test of Time

Durability is important. Choices in kitchen flooring range from hardwood and laminate flooring, ceramic and vinyl tile to granite and stone flooring. Choose the right material according to your wear, traffic and budget. Hardwood comes in pre-finished and unfinished options...if you're in love with a certain type of custom hardwood flooring, but the durability is not what you are looking for we will recommend going with an unfinished floor and adding our own finishes...these decisions will only be made thru a series of consultations.

Once you pick a material and finish that you like we will help you choose the best route to get there. Kitchen floor tile mad of stone is very popular right now, but is the softest of the materials, while granite tile is the most durable. Often times we recommend an artificial stone kitchen floor tile for the durability factor, cost factor and the looks that can be achieved through "man made stone."
