Kitchen Fixtures

Sterling Design & Construction can order and install all of your fixtures and appliances for you. We are NOT a reseller of any name brand appliances, but usually do get contractor pricing. The biggest part of the equation is that in designing your kitchen renovation we need to incorporate your appliances into our drawings for sizing, power and placement requirements. Whether you are using existing appliances or new ones we need the specs in order to do our job. As a courtesy to our customers we will order, pickup and install your new appliances for you if you wish.

Kitchen Sinks:

Kitchen sinks come in huge variety of shapes and sizes. We will make your sink decisions as simple as possible. Consider the needs of your sink. You might choose to install a double sink, large sink or even a second sink. What you need depends on how you use your kitchen.

The process of picking out your kitchen sink is very closely tied into picking out your kitchen cabinets and kitchen countertops. You have to prioritize what is most important to you. Is it the look of the sink, the cabinets or the countertops that will drive your newly renovated kitchen? Most sinks will work with most cabinetry and countertops, but there are exceptions. We normally work with Kohler, Grohe, Moen, Blanco, Elkay, Newport Brass and Whitehaus brands, but if you have something specific in mind that you saw or have already bought we can easily incorporate your brands or sinks into our designs.

Kitchen Faucets:

Don't forget the faucet! It's not just an addon...the right faucet can make your kitchen. Many sinks dictate the faucet you will use, but in most cases we can mix and match sinks and faucets. Many new homes are incorporating wall mounted faucets. Whatever your needs we have the solutions.

Our faucet brands include Grohe, Kohler, KWC, Brizo, DornBracht & Kallista to name a few. Again, we can order any brand that you have seen and can usually incorporate faucets that you may have picked up already.

Kitchen Lighting & Fans:

Your kitchen lighting needs are a very important consideration when choosing your new kitchen lighting design. We start by asking you how you use your kitchen. Is your kitchen an eat-in kitchen? Are we building you a kitchen desk for making out bills and for your children to do homework at? Do you do a lot of food prep? Will you have multiple food prep areas? Are your ceililngs going to be high or low? All of the answers to these questions will help us design a kitchen lighting layout that will make your kitchen as functional as possible.

Kitchen Islands:

Kitchen designs incorporating a center or kitchen island are very popular now. We can add wine racks, a second sink, more storage space for utensils and more in a kitcehn Island. Kitchen islands are usually constructed out of the same or matching cabinetry that the rest of your kitchen uses.
